Brocha Silvestre

Brocha Silvestre, the moniker for Mariano Arrien-Gomez, is a multidisciplinary artist who creates murals, illustrations, and digital art. Originally from D.C., he has spent most of the last decade in Bolivia learning from biologists and researchers about one of the most bio-diverse places on earth.

After partnering with many conservationist organizations and projects, Brocha Silvestre has adopted the Jaguar (Panthera onca) as the muse of his latest exhibit Jaguar Moon.

Brocha Silvestre studied at Virginia Commonwealth University, where he earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts.
